Speech-Language Pathologist for the Early Intervention Program                                                Applicants are invited for a 0.8 FTE (36 hour work week) temporary position at RMCDC.  The position is effective February 2010.

Duties:                                                                                                                                                               Provide communication assessment, therapy, and consultation services to preschool aged children as part of an interdisciplinary team, following a community based, family-centred model.  The Ridge Meadows Child Development Centre provides a variety of early intervention services to children and families in the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows municipalities.  This position may require some evening and weekend work. Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology 
• Membership and certification with CASLPA
• Experience working with young children with a variety of disabilities, their families and other professionals
